This year’s Nobel Prize is somewhat different. The Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to two AI researchers, and part of the Chemistry Prize went to the founder of DeepMind, who developed AlphaFold 2.

The scientific community largely expected the Chemistry Prize award, after all, results that previously required months of hard work from a single team can now be produced by AI in just a second. DeepMind has significantly increased research efficiency, and this is evident. As for the Physics Prize, it has indeed left many people bewildered — are these two conducting research in physics?!

A few days ago, The Huohua Academy conducted a live stream, inviting Professor Huang Weilun from Wenzhou University’s School of Business to explain the reasons and impact of this Nobel Prize announcement. Professor Huang presented a thorough and comprehensive discussion, and if you are interested, you can check the live stream replay.
