Exciting

The last major Bard update, I wrote an article “Does Bard’s Update with Multimodal and Multilingual Support Work Well?”. At the time, through actual testing, we concluded:

Bard’s multimodal capabilities are indeed leading among the few major public language models, but Bard still has many problems.

The issues we talked about included lack of multilingual support, hallucinations in multimodal, and logical and programming capabilities still lagging behind GPT-4 level.

This Bard update, even CEO Pichai seems very excited.

This Bard update introduces quite a few things, you can check the details here. Today I mainly want to talk to you about how Bard finally has a plugin system. And the first batch of plugins are Google’s own services.
