The story, when told, is quite astonishing.

Originally, I wanted to introduce you to a new voice transcription tool called SuperWhisper.

I discovered it in a video by Cortex Futura.

What can this tool do? It transcribes your voice input into text using the local Whisper model. Then, based on your prompt, it makes minor edits and pastes it at the current cursor position.

Compared to the Tana AI command method and the AudioPen voice input tool I introduced to you before, SuperWhisper has the following advantages:

  • Security. No need to upload data to the server. Because it uses a local model, the data is processed locally, which is safer;
  • Speed. The process includes both ‘transcription and polishing’, especially when using smaller models, the speed is blazing fast;
