Once the floodgates of developers’ imagination open, we are inevitably greeted by a deluge of AI applications that dazzle and overwhelm.

Excitement

This morning, I suddenly discovered that ChatGPT’s latest “Create GPTs” feature was available.

This was a pleasant surprise, much sooner than I had anticipated. Based on the hints on the page, I thought I’d have to wait about a week. So, I tweeted my astonishment:

What can we do with the GPTs functionality? What kind of assistant robot should we create?

And just about ten minutes later, my own bot was online. It took me another ten minutes of excitement before I remembered to update this in the comments.
